Veronica Corrine Fournier, née Owens, 76, passed away on April 22, 2026, in Troy, Michigan. She was born on October 24, 1949, in Highland Park, Michigan, to Lester and Bernadine Owens. She was the oldest of three children, followed by Donald and Sharron.

She graduated from Walsh College and worked as an accountant. In April 1972, she married her childhood friend, Donald J. Fournier, Jr. At the age of 21, she welcomed her daughter, Katrina Fournier.

Veronica had a lifelong love of reading and enjoyed yarn crafts. She was a member of a choral group, the Footlighters, for many years and remained in contact with its members throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Katrina Fournier, and her brother, Donald Owens.

A celebration of life service and luncheon will be held on May 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Berkley Community Church, 2855 Wiltshire Rd, Berkley, MI 48072.
