Gary Dennis Burr, age 84, of Ferndale Michigan, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Born to the late Louis and Marie Eva (Tousignant) Burr, Gary was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Following his service, he worked as a courier for Comcast, where he was known for his dedication and reliability.

 Gary enjoyed tinkering around the house and listening to music. He had a natural gift for fixing things and took pride in keeping busy with projects. Above all, he will be remembered for his sense of humor and his loving heart. Gary brought laughter and warmth to those around him and will be deeply missed.

 He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Burr; his daughters, Nicole Carlton (Brian Allen) and Lindsay (Adam) Diehm; and his cherished grandchildren, Aren, Kalle, Anna Stiina, Ryland, and Baby Diehm. He is also survived by his siblings, Louis (Barbara) Burr, Richard (Ruth) Burr, and Laura (Terry) Walters.Gary was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Bradley and Virginia Halbert.

 A memorial service will be held at a later date.
